BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ANALYSTWork Schedule: M-F 8:00 AM -5:00 PM, must be flexible to work over time if needed.

Job will work out of Charlotte Headquarters.

Required Skills:

• Associate Degree or higher required• Working with Project Management - 2 + years• Knowledge and design of fiber optic systems – 2 + years• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills• Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required• Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project• Strong organizational skills• Strong written and oral communication skills• Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities• Attention to detail with focus on error-free work• Works well in team environment and with peers – team player• Result-oriented and responsive; utilizes network, SME’s and other available resources to facilitate driving tasks to closure.

Desired Skills:• Familiarity with Procore project management software• Experience in the construction industry a plus• Technical background, preferably in the fields of telecommunications• Knowledge of CenturyLink’s BidMaster/Fireworks system• Familiarity with Rural Utilities Service (RUS) Codes• Superior administrative skills• Demonstrated record of delivering high quality results Evaluates, reviews, and provides input regarding major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals. Responsible for the development of market/product line business plans and strategic marketing programs to support sales. Complete understanding and wide application of technical and commercial principles, theories, and concepts. General knowledge of affiliated disciplines and businesses. Understands competitive environment. Substantial knowledge of one commercial discipline/function. Develops technical solutions to complex commercial problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Identifies competitive activity where Client is at risk in performance, cost, quality or market access. Leverages industry knowledge to increase market position and/or solidify customer relations. Assigned work goals are attained without appreciable supervisory direction. Completed work is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective. Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects to external customers.
