- Support cross-functional initiatives related to privacy and compliance
- Help to develop and document new tools, processes, and standards to meet emerging privacy regulations (such as the CPRA)
- Assist with privacy and compliance projects, from scoping out requirements to working collaboratively across cross-functional teams and managing implementation
- Synthesize and stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory requirements (through review of statutory language, industry and web publications, webinars, etc)
- Track progress and assist with managing milestones and deliverables
- Assist with responding to data subject rights requests and sensitive member escalations
- Bachelor's degree and excellent academic credentials
- 3+ years of relevant background experience
- Team player with excellent people skills and a bias to action
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to
- detail
- Experience driving complex projects to a successful, timely completion
- Familiarity with Google tools (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc), JIRA, and Slack)
- Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and GLBA
- Experience working in financial services
- Experience working with legal or compliance stakeholders
- Project management experience
