Description Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for a contract position for our well-esteemed client. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Construction-In-Progress (CIP) and Fixed Asset accounting practices. You will be responsible for recording, tracking, and managing company fixed assets and managing construction projects from inception to completion.Responsibilities:

Handling all aspects of Construction-In-Progress (CIP) and Fixed Asset accounting, including tracking, capitalizing, and dispositioning assets.

Managing construction project accounting and financial analysis.

Maintaining CIP and Fixed Assets ledgers and schedules, ensuring accurate coding and capitalizations.

Reconciling the accounts of CIP and Fixed Assets.

Preparing monthly and annual financial reports related to CIP and Fixed Assets.

Processing asset retirements and transfers.

Assisting with financial audits related to CIP and Fixed Assets.

Complying with all financial standards and regulations.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role with specific experience in CIP and Fixed Assets.

Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent numerical, written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
