Accident Reconstruction Engineer

 Engineering analysis of traffic accidents involving cars, trucks, tractor-trailers, motorcycles, and other vehicles.Perform on-site inspections of accident scenes and involved vehicles. Conduct ‘Black box’ data acquisition for passenger vehicles and heavy trucks, including Mack and Volvo.Consult with attorneys and insurance adjusters on matters in litigation or pre-litigation.Testify as an expert witness in depositions and trials.Investigate mechanical systems failures and accidents, including researching mechanical systems design and operation.Perform vehicle dynamics research, including full-scale vehicle testing and data acquisition.Research, write, and publish technical reports and peer-reviewed publications on topics relevant to accident reconstruction and forensic engineering.
