JOB DESCRIPTION: Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions; partner with Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs, evaluate project deliverables to ensure they meet specifications and architectural standards. Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensure that teams are in alignment with the architecture blueprint, standards, target state architecture, and strategies. Coordinate, execute, and participate in component integration (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) to identify application errors and to ensure quality software deployment. Participate and coach others in all software development end-to-end product lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of complex company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls. Employ software design patterns and approaches, understand application level software architecture, make technical tradeoff decisions at application level. Automate and simplify team development, test, and operations processes, develop detailed architecture plans for large scale enterprise architecture projects and drive the plans to fruition. Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior level engineers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience with Software development in Java/J2EE environment and Mainframe Technologies or related field OR a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience with Software development in Java/J2EE environment and Mainframe Technologies or related field. Must have the following prior experience: 2 years of experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, Spring Framework, Node JS, HTML, Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular JS, Tomcat, SQL, JWT, JSON, CSS, Shell Scripting and C Programming; 2 years of experience working in an Agile environment; 2 years of experience in database technologies including MySQL, Sybase, PostgreSQL, JDBC Connectivity; 2 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) in Unix, Linux and Windows platforms; 2 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software of one more of the following: JIRA, Bitbucket GIT or SVN or Bamboo; 2 years of experience working with development and debugging tools below: InteliJ, Eclipse, GDB, Putty, Visual Studio code, Git, Maven, Stash , Sonar, Microsoft Office Tools, Jenkins, Splunk, New Relic, Soap UI; 2 years of IT experience developing and implementing retail business systems within an organization; 2 years of experience working with messaging systems of IBM MQ, Google pub-sub and JMS; 2 years of experience with CI/CD pipeline Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes within an organization; 1 year of experience in Spring batch/cloud/security, Google cloud, Google pub/sub, Google spanner, Google cloud function, GraphQL, Big query, Selenium, Codecept JS; 2 years of experience in Spring batch/cloud/security, AWS S3/Lambda, CFT, RDS, Cloud watch, cloud trail, PCF.
