- Takes a leading role in designing and developing software applications to control automated material handling equipment for use within manufacturing, warehousing and distribution industries.
- Perform in-house testing with software and hardware emulators.
- Create operator and administrator training manuals and materials
- Install systems at customer s site and perform on-site integration with automated equipment.
- Train operators
- Provide ongoing support including after-hours support on a rotational basis
- Assume project management responsibilities
- Lead and direct the work of other software developers
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years in Application development in the Windows Operating System environment and Visual Basic, C/C programming languages.
- Oracle or SQL Server Database
- Experience with Automated Material Handling Systems is preferred
- Willingness to travel.
