- Candidate will participate in multiple projects and have a specific set of deliverables around Performance and Capacity to include a workload profile
- Review technical project documentation in an effort to identify performance and capacity impacts to the infrastructure. Projects identified with impact will be engaged and the candidate will provide support and consulting for the project(s) in question
- Work with other support teams to collectively provide performance and capacity requirements as they apply to the specific project and existing environments
- Work with other support teams to collectively provide forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components
- Once performance testing is underway, the candidate will review load/performance test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs and Performance Center results) to measure and interpret performance and determine production impact
- Candidate will also be required to support activities which include but not limited to periodic review cycles for all applications under their support
- The candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge of capacity planning methodologies
- The candidate will be required to demonstrate knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices
- The candidate will be required to participate and lead peer reviews on most deliverables
- The candidate is expected to leverage their knowledge and experience to mentor and guide other team members in the management of their initiatives
- The goal of the Capacity Management team is very much a group effort, requiring ongoing mutual support amongst team members
- The candidate will be expected to foster a culture of support and knowledge sharing
- Desired Experience with: AppDynamics Splunk Operating System Performance Measurement Tools (SAR/PerfMon) True Sight Capacity Optimizer Agile Framework - Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
