PART TIME ART TEACHER WANTED
Drawn2Art, a private art school, teaching fine art drawing and painting to students, ages 4 years - Adults, has a position open for a teacher for our Cornelius studio. We are looking for an artist with a background in realism, as we teach the use of graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolors, acrylics, oils and more. We teach a classical, realistic approach, teaching still-life, realistic animals, the figure, portraiture, landscapes, cartooning & more.
Qualifications:
Must be able to show realistic drawing and painting skills in as many of the mediums and subject matter mentioned above. Please include images with your resume.
Have a real affinity for and good communication skills with children, teens, and adults.
Live no more than a 30 minute drive from our Cornelius studio.
Be highly responsible and punctual.
Must have a degree in fine art drawing and painting, or working toward this degree.
READ CAREFULLY:
Needs to be available to teach on Friday and Saturday to start and up to 5 days a week in future months on a part time basis. Classes on Saturday and Sundays can start as early as 9 a.m. and go to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday classes can start as early as 1 p.m. and go to 8:15 p.m. Your schedule would be dependent on enrollment and studio needs.
