High School Employment Skills Teacher

Teaching position available with a national non-profit teaching employment skills to Gastonia Lincolnton area high school students enrolled in public and charter high schools. You will develop & implement lessons aligned with the five components of Pre-Employment Transition skills (Pre-ETS), a government-mandated training program designed for students with either IEPs, 504 Plans or documented medical disabilities. The instructor will also develop internship opportunities and provide job coaching services for participating students who are 16+. I resigned from the public school system three years ago to serve as the program manager for Employment Source's Works for Me Pre-ETS program and have not regretted it one day! Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required. Individuals with retail customer service experience or retail management experience are encouraged to apply. Pay is $20 per hour with part-time benefits and reimbursements such as mileage, supplies, and cell phone. I am more than happy to answer any questions!
