We are looking to fill one full-time and one Sat/Sun part-time driving instructor position. We need you to teach classroom drivers education to teenagers once or twice a month and behind-the-wheel to teens and adults regularly/daily. We will train you and supply a car (equipped with GPS tracker) and a gas card for work. This job does not offer medical insurance. Starting pay is $13 per hour once you are trained, $10 per hour while training. Most people only need 10-15 hours of training. You must be willing and available to work all weekends for either position.
Qualifications:
1. 5 years with a license (21 years of age or older)
2. No previous DWI/DUI conviction in the last 10 years
3. Clean driving record over last 4 years and no insurance points
4. Absolutely no criminal history other than minor traffic violations
5. Non smoker/tobacco user
6. In good health
7. You must be willing to work long hours on weekends
8. Patience
9. You must have a car and proof of liability insurance (to get to work, not to drive students. A car will be supplied with passenger-side brake to instruct)
10. You must have a reliable cell phone with GPS
We need the following REQUIRED documents from you at the time of interview:
1. Resume with references and work history
2. Copy of your SSN
3. Copy of your criminal history (get it at clerk of court)
4. Copy of your valid NC driver's license
5. Copy of your driving record (get it online at NCDMV.gov for $8)
6. Copy of your liability insurance card
