Here at Gunters it is 2 small businesses combined into 1. The Gunter’s Home Repair side will consist of reaching out to customers to schedule their estimates and work orders in a timely manner, typing up the customers estimates and then converting them into work orders when the job is complete, making sure the guys know in the morning what estimates or work orders they will be assigned to for the day, and ordering supplies for pick up or delivery from the retail stores. The Gunter’s Transport side will consist of booking loads for the trucks, learning to dispatch the trucks and creating relationships with the brokers for future loads, you will be responsible to find the drivers loads to and from destinations, keeping in contact with the drivers to make sure they are on schedule, communicating with the brokers to relay on time deliveries or any mishap that will or might occur with the trucks or drivers scheduling. Creating a spreadsheet weekly to show the weekly profits for each truck. Both of these will keep you busy for the day but they both have great importance and both need set along timing to get things done and so one does not lack attention over the other. Everything for both businesses will be added to a google calendar for the drivers to know their stops and the workers to know their daily schedule.
