Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Service Advisor/Writer to join our team. The Service Advisor/Writer plays a pivotal role in our operation, serving as the primary liaison between our customers and our skilled technicians. This role offers a solid pay plan with uncapped commissions and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k with matching, and life insurance. Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to assess their automotive service needs and provide expert recommendations.
Utilize your sales expertise to effectively prioritize and sell needed services and products.
Coordinate service appointments and manage the repair process from start to finish.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions.
Collaborate closely with our team of technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Sales Experience:Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent automotive repair shop or automotive dealership as a writer or advisor, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Fluent Automotive Background:Solid understanding of automotive parts, repair, and service procedures.
Organizational & Focus Skills:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions and interruptions.
Computer Knowledge:Proficiency in using Windows-based computer systems, including word processing and spreadsheet software. Typing or dictation skills of at least 30 words per minute.
Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to effectively communicate over the phone.
Math Skills:Basic math proficiency, including the ability to perform calculations using a calculator.
Physical Demands:
Ability to enter and exit various vehicles independently.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
