Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the high tech pharmaceutical/biotech industry based in Cary, North Carolina. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle a multitude of tasks such as processing invoices, managing accounts payable, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer credit applications Handle full cycle accounts payable using Microsoft Great Plains Oversee T& E payments Conduct research on contract database and process payments from contracts at higher education partners Maintain accurate customer credit records Perform data entry tasks and manage invoice processing Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Conduct account reconciliation and manage check runs Ensure coding of invoices is done accurately. Requirements Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs Proficiency in Coding Invoices Strong Data Entry skills Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Excel Knowledge and experience in Great Plains Accounting Must be able to work in a fast-paced high tech, pharm/biotech environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
