PTI is part of Perdue Farms, a family-owned company heading into its second century of growth and innovation.SummaryManages the operations of assigned garage.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManages assigned garage staff to include hiring, training, and developing the staff to meet the needs of the department.Ensures safe working conditions for all associates.Ensures quality of repairs is in accordance with customer requirements, OEM specifications and DOT regulations.Manages the department operations to ensure costs are within established operating budgets.Minimum EducationHigh School Graduate or GEDBS Degree preferred (Management)Experience Requirements3 - 5 yearsUnderstanding of mechanical processesUnderstanding of standard software applicationsStrong math, communication, analytical and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills.Knowledge of standard computer software applicationsMust have a CDLExperience PreferredEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsAble to move freely throughout the garage facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 50'), carrying tools and equipment (0-100 pounds), exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%), noise (50db to 100db) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
