Private Cloud Administrator

This position requires a person with experience working with multiple virtualization environments. Must be a self starter & independent worker. This selected candidate must also be willing to build bridges with other disciplines and likes to work in cross-disciplined IT groups. Working knowledge of VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Linux or Microsoft operating systems Position is to help create scripting for a software defined data center environment Assist in the day to day maintenance of all virtual environments. Documentation of the supported environments. Responsible for Server deployments, system upgrades/updates and automation support around these actions. Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages used to manage our private cloud. Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. This position does require working weekends & off-hours support on a per incident basis.
