Against the Grain Farm, is hiring for greenhouse lead, co-farm manager, pack shed lead, and general production. We are looking for detail oriented people that like to work outside. Our team does a variety of things centered around growing certified organic vegetable production year round. Job includes benefits like paid time off, paid sick days, housing option, and take home veggies and meat.
This is a demanding fast pace job that requires on the job learning and adapting to different plant needs suck as planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, greenhouse heating maintainance, tractor work, building compost, vending at local farmers markets, restaurant delivery,working with biodynamic preps, and working with an intimate team to get the work done efficiently.
Applicants would ideally have some gardening/farming experience and pay will be based on that level of experience however a willingness to learn and a good attitude goes a long way in securing a position. It can be a year round full or part time job that is flexible depending on position. We are seeking long term relationships with people that want to be close to the source of their food and learn about high production farming on small acreage.
