Description:
Responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities meet their goals.
Provide adaptive skills training, positive integrative community experiences, and related educational activities.
Areas include health and wellness such as exercise activities, employment skills, transportation, volunteering, and communication/social skills.
Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant as required by service standards.
Implement participants’ goals according to their individual plans.
Act as an advocate and communicate professionally with other agencies, families, staff, etc.
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities.
High school diploma required and two years of experience in related area is preferred.
Ability to actively assist, demonstrate, and participate with participants in varied activities and locations related to service delivery.
Background check, MVR check, Driver's License with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required.
Details:
Part Time, 14-18 hours per week with the possibility for additional hours.
Hours are Monday through Friday, daytime.
