DESCRIPTION:
Assist residents in their home with personal care and hygiene goals, daily living skills, personal safety, recreation/leisure skills, and community activities, i.e., shopping, eating out, exercise, recreation, church, etc.
Implement residents’ goals according to their individual plans.
Administer medications and prepare meals.
Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant as required by service standards.
Act as an advocate and communicate professionally with other agencies, families, staff, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma and ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities.
Need ability to keep accurate records and work independently.
Must be able to actively assist participants in varied activities and locations related to service delivery.
Background/MVR check with acceptable driving record, Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required.
DETAILS:
Part Time.
Evening and Weekend hours, 15-25 hours per week.
