GOE Project Manager Position

Turning dream permaculture designs to a reality in AVL area
Work flow
Meeting designer on site for a walkthrough of the final design. Use this time to ask questions, talk about exact materials, look at pitfalls and opportunities of the site. Learn about clients and introduction to smoothly transition from final design into installation phase.
Create an estimate using our template for the installation phase.
Order and schedule materials and labor in coordination with crew and client needs.
Oversee crew through installations acting as connecting knowledge and problem solving to the final design and client.
Monitoring the actual inputs such as material and labor vs the estimate.
Answering questions for clients and crew when needed with gardening and permaculture expertise.
Completing checklist for the install and a final walkthrough with client after installation completing.
Turning in receipts and feedback about the project.
Desired Education
PDC, horticulture education, and community driven knowledge opportunities. We are very aware of barriers within the education system and are very open to hands-on learning and experience as well.
Seeking landscape project management experience (1-2yrs)
Farming experience is a plus!
Desired Skills
Using pre created google sheets (excel), google drive.
Client relations
Collaboration and knowledge share with the crew.
Being able to work within the seasonal needs such as phasing out pruning, sowing, ect.
