A speaker manufacturing company has immediate need for an Operations Assistant. The position requires strong proficiency in QuickBooks, with some basic accounting skills, and daily office tasks. Position requires working with a team to develop quotes and pricing reviews. Tasks may also include basic human resources (time and attendance) and customer service. Certain aspects of the position are required whereas other skills and experiences will be definite pluses.
Requirements:
Must be a high school graduate with a minimum of two years office vocational training or 3 to 5 years on the job training in the
skills listed below.
Strong computer skills with experience in Windows based software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience in Excel.
Experienced in QuickBooks
Knowledge of Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
Development of PowerPoint presentations, announcements, record keeping and other communications may be required.
Excellent phone and communications skills as there will be interactions with Customers, Vendors, Employees, and other company
interested parties.
Pluses for a candidate:
Exposure to and involvement in Quality control and/ or Quality Management System as defined in ISO9001 or other Quality
Standards.
Working in a manufacturing environment with some involvement in Human Resources, production scheduling, shipping,
receiving, and preparation of transportation documents.
Experience in developing quotes for customers and customer relationships
Compensation:
A competitive wage for a normal 40-hour work week; normal work hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some overtime.
