Communications coordinator- part time

Private gated community in East Asheville needs a communications coordinator for their Design Review Committee. The position requires approximately five to ten hours per week with a monthly on-site visit, (2nd Tuesday of the month). Clear communication skills, organizational talent and an ability to promptly respond to questions required. A familiarity with construction, design, landscape architecture or building would be a bonus, but not a requirement. The majority of this job can be done from home with the exception of the monthly on-site reviews where builders, architects, owners and the DRC meet at the build site to review plans. These reviews begin around noon and can take the rest of the afternoon to complete. Our communications coordinator is moving out of state and is willing to work with the new hire during the transition period. The applicant will need to interview with members of the DRC before any decisions are made.
