We're Hiring: Project Manager
(Part-Time, Remote or Hybrid (if you live in the Asheville Area)
Some context:
I’m Tobin! I run Tobin Jarrett Consulting (https://tobinjarrett.com/) a small but mighty marketing agency that specializes in helping Impact-Driven, Change-Making Businesses grow, scale, and make an even bigger impact!
We’ve been around for around a decade, but just recently, we’ve been shifting our focus from merely selling services, to selling results (more revenue).
Now, we’re going all-in on this new vision, but to make that leap, I (the founder) need to step fully into strategy, leadership, marketing, and building transformational client relationships.
But right now, too much of my time is spent managing emails, projects, and tasks. That's where you come in.
We’re hiring a smart, proactive Project Manager to take ownership of our email and Asana (our proj. mgmt. software) workflows, so I can focus on growing the business — and we can help our clients grow faster, too.
What This Role Is Really About
This isn’t just a coordinator role. You’re not here to check boxes or “do tasks.” You're here to keep everything moving… with precision, quality, clarity, and zero babysitting needed.
You’ll be managing daily communications, organizing projects, and making sure the right people are doing the right things at the right time. You’ll translate strategic direction into clear action, and help systematize how we work so we can grow, sustainably and fast.
You’ll also be learning directly from me. For the first few weeks, you’ll shadow me, watch how I triage and manage, and soak up the systems and decision-making approach I’ve refined over years. You’ll gain behind-the-scenes access to how a results-based agency runs, and how it evolves.
The Outcome We’re Hiring You To Create
Your success is measured by this: I can spend less than 30 minutes per day in email and Asana within 6 weeks, and everything keeps moving smoothly.
That means:
Client messages are triaged and responded to within 24 hours (by you or the right team member).
My ideas and strategy show up in Asana as clear, assigned tasks, without me doing the admin work.
Projects move forward daily without my nudging.
I’m only looped in when decisions or strategy are truly needed.
Over time, you show leadership, improving our systems and helping us scale the results-based model.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
-Triage email and Asana messages (ideally twice per day, but once is fine to start)
-Turn Loom videos, voice notes, and strategic plans into clear tasks and follow-ups
-Communicate with the team to keep projects unblocked and moving
-Follow up on tasks and deadlines, without me having to ask
-Keep our clients in the loop (without overcommunicating)
-Spot bottlenecks and surface what matters, not noise
-Improve how we track and systematize internal operations

The Details
-Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week to start with high probability of fulltime within a year
-Location: Remote (or hybrid if you're near Asheville, NC)
-Hours: Flexible, but you must be responsive during US business hours
-Pay: $20–$30/hour depending on experience and fit
-Start Date: Ideally within the next 2 weeks
-Trial: 1–2 week paid trial to assess fit (with onboarding plan in place)
-Growth Path: Virtually unlimited, this role WILL evolve into a key leadership position if we work well together
