We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laborer/Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. As a Laborer/Lawn Care Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for lawns, gardens, and grounds in Weaverville NC and surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading of tools and materials which can at times call for heavy lifting
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Maintain garden beds by weeding, mulching, and watering
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and equipment
- Ensure proper care of lawns by aerating, seeding, and dethatching
- Assist with landscape maintenance projects as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in lawn care or groundskeeping preferred but not required. On the job training is available.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques is a plus.
- Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
