As a Garden Crew Leader, you will overseea team of gardeners, manage schedules, assign tasks, ensure top-quality work, and provide excellent customer service. Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills are essential in this role.ResponsibilitiesSowing, cultivation, and propagation of plants, trees, and shrubsApplication of chemical and organic herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizersTrimming,pruning, and general plant careSoil management tasks, including amending and gradingRoutine cleaning, weeding, and debris removalDigging, lifting, and operating small machineryLoading and unloading tools and equipment from trucks and trailersMoving and installing soil, mulch, and plant material to assist with garden constructionWorking efficiently and safely with urgency and purposeCommunicating with clients in a professional, polite, and courteous mannerQualificationsMinimum of one yearexperience in the landscape garden industry preferredCapable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible mannerEffective communication skills – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signsStrong time management and task prioritization skillsAbility to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a teamMust be able to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods outdoors in various conditions, including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and coldA valid driver's license is required for employment.
