We at Legacy Apartment Staffing know the importance of ensuring the safety of residents and onsite teams when it comes to preventing fires! When the power is out due to inclement weather, it is especially important to have someone available to monitor the property around the clock.
We are currently seeking Firewatch / Building Attendants to join our team in Asheville, NC! The primary responsibility of a fire watcher is to monitor communities without power and/or inoperable fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
Fire prevention by monitoring buildings and property hourly
Detect potential fire hazards
Alert firefighters and emergency services in the event of a fire
Report any non-emergency issues to onsite management team
Maintain property-provided report of fire watch activities
Qualifications:
Must be able to start immediately! (Tomorrow)
Ability and availability to work any shift - primarily overnight (10:00 PM-6:00 AM)
Reliable transportation
Reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone)
