This flagship hotel features a modern design, 188 spacious suites, amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, over 7,500 square feet of meeting and event space and a 2,500 square foot rooftop restaurant and bar and is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. The Role:

As a Banquets Prep Cook, you'll be instrumental in the preparation and execution of culinary delights for our banquets and events, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

What You'll Do:

-Prepare and assemble ingredients for banquet dishes according to recipes and specifications, ensuring timely and efficient execution.

-Collaborate closely with the chefs and kitchen team to coordinate preparation and service for events of varying sizes, and to assist with daily prep.

-Maintain a clean and organized prep area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

-Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items.

-Embrace the challenge of delivering culinary excellence in a fast-paced banquet setting, while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing demands.

-Uphold the reputation of Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown as a premier destination for banquets and events through your dedication and attention to detail.

Your Skills and Style:

-Previous experience as a Prep Cook or Banquet Cook in a hotel or upscale dining environment is preferred.

-Passion for culinary excellence, demonstrated through your commitment to preparing high-quality dishes with precision and care.

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring efficient and accurate preparation of ingredients.

-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.

-Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure seamless execution of banquet services.
