Gemelli is an upscale Italian eatery located in West Asheville's Westgate Shopping Center.
The beautifully designed space seats 80-100 guests in a cozy European cafe-inspired dining room with an outdoor patio.
We are currently seeking an experienced line cook.
Starting at 9am, coffee shop staples and satisfying brunch classics are offered via counter-style service. By mid-day house-made pasta, Sicilian style pizza and Northern Italian-inspired dishes become available as we transition to full table service.
An ideal candidate has several years experience in restaurant service and special events, with a passion for hospitality and:
-have reliable transportation
-be able to lift 25 pounds
-have intermediate knife skills
Duties and responsibilities for this role include
-preparation of dishes according to specifications and quality and consistency standards
-participation in creation and execution of prep lists
-maintaining cleanliness and operation of kitchen equipment and space
-understanding all ingredients and potential allergens
-communication of feedback and ideas to leadership team
