Four Sisters Bakery in Black Mountain is looking to hire a Front of House and farmer's market booth employee! We are accepting applications for full time employees only. Must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays, and must be willing to open some days (arriving at 6 AM). This position is mostly daytime hours, with some farmer's markets taking place in the evening.
For Front of House, experience in customer service is required. Responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer service while fulfilling customers orders, taking payment, making coffee, stocking, organizing, ordering, doing occasional deliveries and markets, and cleaning. We have also launched a new sandwich menu, so any experience with sandwich assembly and serving food is preferred but not required. Knowledge of operating an espresso machine and making various coffee drinks is required.
Farmer's Market responsibilities include loading up a bakery owned van with equipment and pastries, setting up a tent and tables, setting up baked goods in an appealing manner, handling cash/card/Venmo transactions for baked goods, packing equipment up and unloading. There may also be deliveries to wholesale clients to be made on the way to a market.
