This role is initially for a period of three months, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in quality assurance and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.Responsibilities:
Evaluate inventory for potential revival based on defect categorization, measurement verification, and compliance with design requirements.
Record essential data for each item using digital tools.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to update measurements or dispositions as necessary.
Prepare and submit Material Review Boards (MRBs) as required.
Gain expertise in specific product indications, measurement systems, and acceptance criteria.
Provide weekly updates on project progress and completion status.
Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship required.
Experience with initiating and reviewing MRBs for Non-Conforming Material preferred.
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and First Article Inspections (FAIs).
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and process adherence, balanced with the flexibility to meet operational needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action methods.
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to lead projects of moderate scope effectively.
Quality auditor experience is an advantage.
