We are looking for just the right person or persons to be the right fit for our 33 year old son. He has developmental disabilities and uses a power wheelchair to get around, but he is very active and talkative. He needs someone who can help him across a variety of activities throughout his day: various physical transfers, guiding him to make good choices, being a good listener with a strong sense of self, having good driving skills (clean record) and ability to drive a pickup truck pulling a small trailer, plus being handy and liking to tinker with things is a plus. You would be helping him to operate his own small business. Must be a nonsmoker, at least a high school diploma. You must be trustworthy, and a good communicator with leadership skills. You must be able to constantly engage and think ahead. You can make a difference! This position can both be fun and challenging.
We currently have 2-3 full days/week available. All training provided.
