Warehouse Associate II - Inventory Apply now » Date: Jul 18, 2024 Location: Arden, NC, US, 28704 Company: Hubbell Incorporated Job Overview The Warehouse Associate II – Inventory is responsible for performing all tasks the safest way possible. In this role, you will be required to perform various nonstandard activities such as product slotting, bin audits, counts, and transfers, scrap letters etc. as directed by your supervisor. This role will be a critical member of the continuous improvement effort in the facility and will be asked to contribute to drive improvements on safety, customer satisfaction, inventory, and productivity. A Day In The Life

Responsible for Non-Task Driven Movements. Example: Product Slotting, Consolidation, Scrap Letters, Material Transfer to Move Infrastructure.

In Facility Adjustments Under $500 when required.

Perform 6S Inspections on Areas Throughout the Facility.

Work with Cycle Count Team for Adjustments Concerns or Questions.

Executing Scrap Requested.

Perform Bin Audits based on potential inventory issues. Example: Missing Product During Pick, Miss Shipment Sent to Customer.

Return Unknown Inventory Back to Correct Bin.

What will help you thrive in this role?

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety, warehouse standards

Understanding of Inventory Control Procedures

Computer experience in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, SAP both EWM and ECC required

Excellent math and analytical skills.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing as needed.

Certification on warehouse equipment is required

Ability to perform job tasks with high degree of accuracy and minimal errors

Ability to follow verbal direction and be self-accountable to work independently.

Good work attendance record required.
