Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Marketing Assistant in the non-profit industry, located in Arden, North Carolina In this role, you will primarily assist in the booking and organization of blood drives, acting as a liaison with coordinators at partnering businesses, and collaborating with the marketing team to create promotional materials. Responsibilities: Assist in the booking and organization of blood drives, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to schedules Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators at partnering businesses, addressing their queries and concerns promptly Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional materials for blood drives Maintain accurate records of all blood drives, including dates, locations, number of donors, and any issues or concerns that arose during the event Use email marketing strategies to increase awareness and participation in upcoming blood drives Execute direct marketing campaigns aimed at encouraging more individuals and businesses to participate in blood drives Manage key accounts, ensuring that all client needs are met, and any issues are resolved in a timely manner Maintain up-to-date account records, including contact information, blood drive schedules, and feedback Coordinate events related to blood drives, such as promotional events, information sessions, and appreciation events for donors Handle all aspects of event coordination, from planning and scheduling to execution and follow-up.Requirements Proven experience in Email Marketing and Direct Marketing Campaigns Demonstrated ability in Account Management and Account Maintenance Proficient in Key Account Management Experience in Scheduling and Coordinating Events Strong skills in Event Coordination and Event Handling Previous experience in a non-profit environment is desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Proficient in using marketing software and tools Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field is preferred Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking Strong organizational and time-management abilities Creativity and commercial awareness.
