Fabrication - Machine Operator - Weekend Shift

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Fabrication - Machine Operator - Weekend Shift.Shift Hours: 7am - 7:30pm Friday - Sunday.The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Job summaryThe Fabrication Operator is responsible to process and bend raw material through the Fabrication Department. Performing initial set-up for machine operation.Job responsibilities Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts Interpret work orders including; written, oral, Kanban cards, and drawings Maintain necessary tools and materials for continuous operation Inspect final component against work specifications Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipment Provide on-the-job training for new operators Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities dailyQualifications:Required Qualifications: Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC to be considered. Active Duty military are exempt from this requirement Must possess a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now and in the futurePreferred Qualifications: Machining Certificate. Previous experience in Fabrication.Position Criteria: Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead. Able to read calipers, protractors and tape measures. Able to read blue prints. Proven history of safe work habits and good attendance. Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision.
