What you’ll do:The essential function of the machine operator is to perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials throughout the Fabrication Department using metal processing machinery.A. Observe all safety rules and hygiene regulationsB. Receive work assignments, oral or written instructions from SupervisorC. Assist with initial set-up for operation on PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machinesD. Complete manual labor associated with machine operations such as breakout, stacking, packing, loading/unloading, sanding, grinding, cleaning and other duties required to prepare parts for the customer.E. Operate equipment/machinery to produce parts with operator guidanceF. Interpret work orders including written, Kanban cards, and drawingsG. Complete necessary paperwork and system transactionsH. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials for continuous operationI. Inspect final component against work specificationsJ. Perform necessary operator maintenance on machining and fabrication equipmentK. Report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders to maintain equipmentL. Perform TPM and 5S+ responsibilities dailyM. Complete any other assigned tasks from managementQualifications:Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility.
