Your key responsibilities will be to:Main AccountabilitiesMaintenance and RepairPerform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation.Maintain electrical controls of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, conveying and optical sorting systems, and Site services including, compressors, chillers, boilers.InstallationInstall new electrical systems and equipment as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Collaborate with OEM manufacturers to install and commission equipment. TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on a range of specialized equipment, including PLC logic, SCADA, and IO troubleshooting.Perform Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant and ensure action items derived are implemented and sustainedSafety ComplianceEnsure all equipment complies with Australian Safety Standards and Safety Control Logic.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments.Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent.Key Deliverables / Business OutcomesReliable and well-maintained machinery and equipment.Reduced production downtime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.Compliance with safety standards and regulations.Decision MakingPrioritize work based on production needs and safety considerations.Make autonomous decisions regarding fault finding and troubleshooting.Plan and execute maintenance activities to minimize production downtimeYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:5-10 years in a similar positionPrior experience in latest technology and automation within a manufacturing environmentGeneral electrical troubleshooting, maintenance & repairs on manufacturing production linesProven ability to problem solve for emergency maintenance and repair Solid understanding of PLC logic, SCADA, Siemens Safety control logic, and Australian Safety Standards.Understanding and working with Safety Systems and Standards, Omron, PIlzA team player with a positive, self-motivated and proactive attitude is essential.Able to read and understand ELD’s and P&ID’sStock control of relevant electrical spare parts
