The Trainer and Configuration Specialist is responsible for configuring CountySuite software and systems to meet client or organizational requirements and providing comprehensive training to ensure end-users are proficient in using the technology. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication and instructional skills, requiring an individual who is detail-oriented and customer-focused to enable delivery of high-quality software products to county government clients.  This position is a member of the project management team, supports the project manager, and adheres to project timelines.Duties/Responsibilities:Configuration DutiesSystem Configuration:
Configure software, platforms, or systems based on client specifications or organizational needs, ensuring that all configuration aligns with project requirements.Testing and Troubleshooting:
Test configurations to ensure functionality, resolve issues, and work closely with technical teams to address more complex problems.Documentation:
Collaborate with product team to create and maintain detailed records of configuration settings, processes, and any custom solutions implemented for clients.Customization:
Adapt existing features or workflows to meet specific user needs while adhering to system capabilities and best practices.Training DutiesConduct Training Sessions:
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users, both onsite and remotely, tailored to varying levels of technical expertise. This would include both initial training sessions, and remedial sessions.Content Development:
Create user manuals, guides, videos, and other instructional materials to support the training process.User Support:
Provide post-training support during an active project and follow-ups to ensure that users are comfortable with the system and can effectively apply their knowledge.  Facilitate client transition to support team maintenance relationship post-project.Training Needs Assessment:
Evaluate the training requirements of different audiences to ensure programs meet their needs.Feedback and Improvement:
Collect user feedback during and after training to improve future sessions and enhance training effectiveness.
