Licensed Practical Nurse

Overview: Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outpatient mental health clinic in Yonkers, NY. This full-time, hybrid position has a salary range of $46,000-$53,000. Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Take vital signs and complete general health monitoring

Screen for psychiatric, substance abuse, and medical problems

Collect urine drug screen and breathalyzer test results

Administer medications delivered through intramuscular injections

Complete prior authorizations for specific mediations when prescribed

Keep electronic health record up to date with lab results and medical reports from outside facilities

Receive and manage medication refill requests

Assist with scheduling psychiatric appointments as needed

Coordinate care with outside pharmacies and providers

Assist with telepsychiatry

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Experience working in mental health

Proficiency with computers

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
