Desktop Support Analyst

Our client, one of the largest hospital systems in the united states, needs desktop support analyst who can help support users in their environment and deploy applications. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience supporting users in a windows environment specifically with Citrix and SCCM. The candidate will be responsible for supporting remote hospital users as well as deploying applications via SCCM. This is a 3 month contract with the opportunity to be extended.

Create and maintain a Universal Workstation standard. Build application packages for rollouts. Use application-packaging tools to create desktop images and application packages. Provide methodology for automated and unattended delivery of applications. Remotely deploy new applications, updates, patches and version releases to the end user. Develop scripts using programming languages to automate the installation of software. Create virtual applications and desktops for installations. Distribute, maintain and provide support for all anti-virus related helpdesk tickets, change requests, work orders and rollouts. Review vendor information and specifications to ensure hardware can efficiently handle the vendor software. Test software in isolated and production environments. Roll-out software. Provide timely, effective, and professional customer support 24x7 on a rotating basis. Provide exclusive support on all desktop, AV and video conferencing issues to the Office of the President. Provide support for the field PC Technicians on complex installation issues.
