The Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects, including month-end close, financial reporting, treasury management, cost accounting, and inventory control, while leveraging ERP systems to streamline processes. Oversee and manage the financial close process for multiple entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Conduct the external audit and ensure compliance with all accounting standards.
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Develop and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and all treasury-related functions.
Ensure efficient cash utilization and monitor financial health across business units.
Implement and manage cost accounting systems that support manufacturing operations.
Work closely with operations teams to optimize inventory management and cost controls.
Provide actionable financial insights to enhance decision-making in manufacturing and inventory processes.
Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Define roles, responsibilities, and workflows to improve team efficiency and output.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
10-12 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including managing multiple entities.
Strong expertise in cost accounting, manufacturing operations, and inventory management.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead teams effectively.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
