Requirements:
Must have NYS K-12 ESL Certification
Collaborate with classroom ELA teachers to provide co-teaching ELLs in an integrated setting
Provide individualized support to ELLs through Stand Alone setting
Consult with instructional staff to best support English language development for ELLs
Working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Students
Responsibilities:
Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum
Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing
Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students
Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference
Salary: As per current Webster Teacher Association (WTA) Contract based on experience and education.
