ROLE PURPOSE The Inspector is responsible for performing final inspection and test of intricate instruments and apparatus or large and/or expensive machines or equipment by performing the following duties. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES · Devise inspection and checking devices and procedure and oversee their application. · Compares product with specifications, parts lists or sample model to ensure completion of assembly, mechanical, electrical or cosmetic requirements. · Report discrepancies and deviation. · Determines cause and effect of malfunctions or defect. · Solves inspection problems encountered in process inspection and testing. · Understand basic electronic principles and identification methods for active and passive electrical components. · Communicates material quality issues · Maintains and updates KPI’s REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Education Level: · High school education or general education degree (GED) Qualifications: · 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES · Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists · Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. · Read and interpret documents such as engineering specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Write routine reports and correspondence · Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization · Read and interpret drawings · Address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. $20.85 - $26.00 per hour, Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; education; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
