Job Title: Multi-Site Technology Facilities & Operations Leader (Niskayuna & Waterford)Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Multi-Site Technology Facilities & Operations Leader to oversee the seamless and compliant operation of our Global Headquarters and Technology Sites in Niskayuna and Waterford, NY. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of operational efficiency across a broad spectrum of areas, including: Day-to-Day Operations Management: Direct oversight of all site operations to maintain smooth and efficient functioning. Capital Investment Projects: Leading and managing site-specific capital projects to drive improvements and ensure long-term growth. Facilities Maintenance & EHS Compliance: Ensuring the sites meet all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, while maintaining optimal facilities performance. Shipping & Receiving: Overseeing logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. Purchasing & Services Management: Efficiently sourcing and managing supplies and services to support operational needs. Waste Management & RCRA Compliance: Managing waste disposal processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including RCRA. Quality Management Systems (QMS): Ensuring all operational processes align with QMS standards for quality and continuous improvement.Additionally, this role will spearhead the critical technology operations transfer from Waterford to Niskayuna, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition.Join us in a leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, compliance, and efficiency, playing a key part in shaping the future of our facilities and technology operations.Responsibilities Include:
Manage all needed site services and maintenance projects.
Develop and own site/facility budgets.
Gather inputs from site leaders to prioritize, plan and execute maintenance and capital projects.
Provide safe work permits for all maintenance work and capital projects as needed within our site safety guidelines.
Lead site capital investment projects, assembling the necessary teams to successfully execute.
Lead the technology safety governance council. Collaborate with site EHS to ensure robust EHS programs, training for the Waterford Technology and Niskayuna sites in compliance with Momentive standards and safety culture, and compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure contractor safety compliance and associated records plus safety metrics tracking and reporting. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and exposure reduction.
Provide leadership for shipping & receiving and purchasing of site services and supplies. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations governing both domestic and international transport of hazardous material, and ensure monthly reconciliation of operating expenses using purchase orders and purchasing cards.
Lead the sites’ technology QMS programs including ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949, keep up with evolving requirements of the standards, and schedule and prepare teams for both internal and external audits. Work in collaboration with ISO/IATF champion for global Technology. Ensure all compliance calendar and record management requirements are met.
Actively participate in the planning & coordination of physical relocation for Waterford technology operations to Niskayuna. This will include development of policies and procedures at the new Niskayuna site.

Qualifications:The following are required for the role
4+ years of experience in managing facility maintenance and improvement
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated experience managing external service providers and vendors
2+ years of demonstrated experience in project management skills – including developing, planning and executing small-to-medium ($25k to $250k) capital improvement projects
Demonstrated strong customer focus orientation and teamwork
Strong organization and time-management skills with a track record of efficient and reliable execution of responsibilities that align with the needs of this role and backed by references
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ERP Software (SAP preferred)
Demonstrated track record of continuous improvement

Relevant ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949 qualifications/experience
Demonstrated experience managing and developing employees
Basic finance or accounting courses completed or demonstrated ability
Experience with laboratory maintenance and improvement
Preferred industries in R&D, Manufacturing or Healthcare Facilities
