POSITION TITLE: Spring Machining Co-op (Days) SALARY RANGE: $18hr to $20hr POSITION HOURS: 8:00am - 5:00pm LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY JOB SUMMARY: The Spring Machining Co-op position at LSI is a short-term assignment designed to provide an educational experience for the student, while at the same time providing tangible benefit to LSI. The Co-op positions may extend or reoccur in line with the academic semesters. The Intern position is also a short-term assignment. The Intern position occurs as a single experience designed to provide work experience for the student. Typically, both Co-op and Intern positions are coordinated through a University or College Co-op office and provide college credit for the student. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Enrolled in an accredited Skilled Trades program in a relevant discipline.
Completion of first year in a relevant discipline preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Solid work ethic and desire to contribute.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter; ability to work in fast paced environment.
Experience with MS Office or similar software.
Must be able to work in a dynamic environment.
