Primary Responsibilities: MEP Foreman – A Tech:
Oversee and lead a team of installers in the installation of plumbing and electrical and HVAC installations ensuring all installations meet company quality and safety standards.
Personally install heat pumps, mini splits, cased coils, air handlers, electrical panels, generator hookups, electric vehicle chargers, walk in showers, and water heaters as a working foreman, demonstrating best practices and technical excellence.
Review project plans and blueprints, guiding team members through the installation process and ensuring all project specifications are met.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following manufacturer guidelines as outlined in the installation manual.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades on-site to ensure seamless installation timelines, manage resource allocation, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Perform quality checks on installations, confirming that systems are calibrated for optimal airflow, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations.
Train and mentor installation team members, sharing knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety practices.
Maintain and promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience installing heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, mini splits, air handlers, and heat pump water heaters, with a strong knowledge of installation procedures and HVAC principles in residential and light commercial settings.
OR
Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience replacing residential panel boxes, service entrances, residential wiring and installation of new circuits.
Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining plumbing, and electrical systems in a residential setting.
Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and training HVAC or Electrical installation teams.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints, installation guides, and building codes, ensuring all installations are code-compliant and efficient.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills for effective coordination and guidance on job sites.
Commitment to quality, safety, and maintaining a professional work environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
Has additional trade skills in drywall or carpentry
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay ranging between $33-38 per hour depending on experience
