Payne Construction and Excavating, LLC is seeking a full-time heavy equipment operator.
Daily operations will include equipment operation and working with teammates on jobs to produce a quality, finished project.
You must have the ability to proficiently operate off road truck, bulldozer, skid steer, excavator, and wheel loader. This includes being able to finish a project to grade, visualize the job, and implement steps towards completion. You must be able to finish a project to grade using a bulldozer. Not a skid steer - a dozer. If you cannot make grade, please do not apply.
The ability to read, comprehend, and apply job site blueprints/plans is a bonus. You must be able to follow simple instruction, add, subtract, multiply, and divide and be familiar with all units of measurement, including fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
We are looking for someone who is familiar with using a laser and figuring grades. GPS experience preferred.
The qualified candidate will have the ability to problem solve, work safely, efficiently, and work cohesively with other team members to produce an accurate finished construction project.
You must have the ability to communicate well with management, clients, and other employees.
Requirements are 5 years experience, high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Health insurance, retirement, and paid vacation offered after 90 days. Rate of pay is dependent upon experience.
