Caregiver Wanted for Summer 2024

Our family is looking to hire a caregiver for the months of June, July and August to help our parents during their time at our family camp on Big Moose Lake. The caregiver would live with my parents (assuming the caregiver is not close by) and provide basic household chores including meal preparation, shopping, cleaning and laundry. Our mother has dementia and needs assistance with medication reminders, hydration, walks and using the bathroom. We have a dog who is very friendly and needs to be walked a few times per day. Our parents will travel back and forth to Syracuse approximately every 10-14 days for doctors appointments etc. During these days, care will not be needed. References required and criminal background check will be completed for all applicants. Caregiver experience working with individuals with dementia is preferred.
