Sr. Financial Analyst

Description Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a Utica client of his that has a newly created Sr Financial Analyst hiring need. This role allows you to work from home 1-2 days a week. There's a wide salary range because they're open to different levels of experience. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support decision-making within the organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting trends, and recommending actions to optimize financial results.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including but not limited to revenue, expenses, capital expenditures, and cost of goods sold, to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and actionable insights.

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and procurement, to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and decision-making.

Provide support for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and new product launches, by conducting financial due diligence and evaluating potential financial impacts.

Assist in the preparation of board presentations, investor communications, and other financial presentations as needed.

Monitor industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact the manufacturing industry and our company's financial performance.

Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, enhance data integrity, and drive operational efficiencies.

Requirements

Excel Formulas experience desired

Bachelor's Degree

Excellent communication skills
