The hours for this position are Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm. Operates Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to measure dimensions of production jigs and determine if they pass/fail.
Visualize and compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of fixtures, based on specifications.
Compares recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notifies specified persons of discrepancies.
Develop and implement computer programs using Calypso software.
Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or leadership to meet business objectives.
Stop production if unsafe parts, actions or poor quality conditions exist.
Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
Complete all required reporting and documentation.
Able to perform shift work on an 8.5-hour shift schedule, including working in a cleanroom environment per semi-conductor industry and Danfoss Silicon Power. protocol/requirement

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of jigs for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, CMM and dial indicators.
Reads blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerance specifications per GD&T.
Physically capable of prolonged standing and working in awkward positions while performing maintenance.
Available to work overtime including weekends and evenings.
