Customer Service Manager
Currently seeking a Customer Service Manager to supervise our main office and customer service lines. Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with the ability to multitask. Requires flexibility in regards to scheduling, great people skills, and creativity.
Hands-on Opportunity to work with the public, many dedicated volunteers, and other local establishments to promote our mission as a nonprofit organization, as well as our various excursions. Employees are encouraged to ride the train to become more familiar with our "product" and mission!
Job Roles and Responsibilities
Answering customer inquiries and problem resolution via phone, email and in person
Supervising paid and volunteer phone operators/customer service agents
Taking individual, group and charter reservations
Ticketing events
Assisting and actively participating in events and event planning
Maintaining and updating website
Order office supplies
Employee and volunteer relations
Promoting the organization within the community
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary
Internet and social networking savvy, knowledge of html coding or willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Graphic design experience a plus but not necessary
Knowledge of Vendini and Safe Harbor ticketing software considered a plus
