A large food plant in Cheektowaga is looking for a fulltime Maintenance Asst on 2nd shift 2:30pm to 11:pm.
Duties Include:
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
- Inspect drives, motors belts and check fluids on all machines
- Assemble, install and or repair machines and electronic equipment
- Clean, maintain and repair machines
Requirements:
- 3 to 5years maintenance experience in a warehouse preferably a food plant
- Knowledge of machines and tools including uses, repair and maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance on all machines and determine if anything is needed
- Agility to work independently
